What should I keep in mind before using DrivePro Body cameras to record?

Category : Setup / Operation

1.Some DrivePro Body cameras use infrared (IR) LEDs and a dual-band filter on the lens. This filter allows both visible and infrared light to pass through. Because of this, your video may appear slightly different when the lens detects infrared light from its surroundings. For instance, some fabrics or leaves may appear a different color.

2.Devices with facial recognition technology, such as smartphones and access control systems, use infrared light to identify faces. If this light bounces off an object, such as a wall, and is picked up by your body camera, bright spots may appear in your video. This is a common physical phenomenon, so there's no need to worry.

3.The DrivePro Body 40 (DPB40) is designed to capture better nighttime footage by absorbing more infrared light. This light passes through the lens filter and is detected by the highly sensitive sensor. Because of this, some of your recordings may have a red or purple tint. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
